St Pauls theatre group April to July 2017

St Paul’s Church Theatre Group – April to July 2017If you are interested in going to the theatre, sharing lifts and enjoying a performance together, here are our next few trips:

 

Thursday, 20th April at 7.00 pm National Theatre Live screened at The Lighthouse “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead” with Daniel Radcliffe, Joshua McGuire and David Haig set with a backdrop of Shakespeare’s Hamlet £12/£11 conc

 

Wednesday, 26th April at 7.00pm at The Lighthouse National Theatre live screened “Julius Caesar” £14/£12 conc

 

Thursday, 27th April at 7.30pm at The Lighthouse “Sully” based on the story of a man landing a damaged plane on the Hudson river. In aid of charity £11 includes a glass of wine.

 

Monday, 1st May at 5.40 pm Lighthouse “Their Finest” staring Bill NIghy, Gemma Arterton and Sam Claflin in a romantic comedy, set during the blitz, inspiring America to join the war. £8.15/£6.65 conc

 

Wednesday, 3rd May at 7.30pm The Grand Best selling courtroom thriller staring Clive Mantle and Jack Shepherd in “The Verdict” approx. £20

 

Thurs, 11th May at 7.00pm The Lighthouse “Obsession” with Jude Law, a handsome down-at-heel meets a couple, falls in love and plots murder. £12/£11

 

Saturday, 13th May at 8pm The Crown Joules pub, Codsall Tettenhall Amateur Players in “Murder, Margaret and Me” A play about Agatha Christie and Margaret Rutherford £7

 

Thurs, 18th May at 7.00pm at The Lighthouse National Theatre Live screened “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolfe” by Edward Albee, staring Imelda Staunton about staff on campus at after party drinks with devastating truth telling £12/£11

 

Friday, 16th and 17th June 8pm 7 plays in 48 hours written in Wolverhampton £7/£5 for one night and £10/£8 for two nights.

 

Thursday, 20th July and Thursday, 27th July at 7.00 National Theatre Live screening “Angels in America” Part One and Part Two. £12/£11 conc set in Ronald Reagan’s 1980’s America in the midst of the AIDS crisis.

Tues, 23rd Jan 2018 at 7.30 at The Grand “Hedda Gabler” National Theatre production of Ibsen’s masterpiece approx. £25
