Thank you for Christian aid

Dear All

The Tettenhall Christian Aid Group, to which St Paul’s belongs, received a Thank You letter from the Christian Aid West Midlands Team. The total for the 8 churches in our area for this year was £7219.23. Also, St Michael’s collected their highest ever total, so it is celebration all round! Well done everyone!

Any thoughts or ideas for Christan Aid week next year? If so, please share them!

Thank you!

Thank you for Christian aid

I would like to invite everyone who has supported Christian Aid week (in any way, shape or form: giving, collecting, cooking, selling/baking cakes, buying cakes/plants, moral support, encouraging, anything!) for a cheese and wine evening (Schloer also available) as a thank you and celebration. Try some local cheeses and Fairtrade wines! All refreshments will be provided. Please bring along partners and family too. All I need to know is numbers of adults and children. Prompt start 7.00pm, finishing approximately 8.15pm. RSVP to Marion 07746 408 872 /

A new adventure begins

Rich, Jenny and Nathan Cresswell will soon be leaving St Paul’s and moving to Nottingham, where Rich will begin two years of at St John’s Theological College, training for ordained ministry.

If you want to keep up-to-date with their new adventure, you can follow their blog at

The first posts, including an explanation of how Rich came to recognise his calling, are already up and you can visit the “About” page to find the meaning of the blog title (although if you heard their sermon last week, you might have a bit of a clue already).

Through the blog, Rich and Jenny hope to keep us informed of what they’re doing, new insights they’ve gained and a few snapshots of life.
