This weekend, St Paul’s is hosting not one, but two Art Exhibitions.

In the Chapel and foyer, the Wolverhampton Friendship Centre O50 artists group are exhibiting their work. Their exhibition last year was a great success and this year promises to be even better. Come and enjoy the exhibition from 10am to 4.30pm on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th, and from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 27th. Admission is FREE. Some of the work is available to buy from the artists.

Additionally, in the Oasis ‘lounge’ area the St Paul’s Thursday over-50’s group have an exhibition of work they have created as part of a project working with Wolverhampton Art Gallery. Later this year the work will form part of a larger exhibition at the Art Gallery, but you can enjoy it first at the Oasis. Open when the cafĂ© is open, 8.45am to 4pm on Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon during the drop-in / Knit and Natter.

Prayer by Anon

A prayer by Anon, supplied by Des Halestrap

Give us Lord a bit of sun
A bit of work and a bit of fun
Give us all in the struggle and the splutter
Our daily bread and a bit butter
Give us health ,our keep to make,
And a bit of spare for poor folks sake
Give us sense, for some of us duffers
And a heart to feel for all that suffers
