Coming up in early 2011

There’s lots to look forward to in the first few months of 2011…

  • Understanding Other Faiths” – the parish intends to offer a series of visits to places where where people of other faiths worship.  There will be an introductory session at Church Cottage, Tettenhall on Tuesday 11th January, 7:30pm, followed by at least four visits.  For more information, please contact Rev’d Allen Roberts.
  • Jack and the Beanstalk” returns to Saint Paul’s!  Yes, pantomime rehearsals start in January and there will be four performances in February half term week – Thursday 24th (7:30pm), Friday 25th (7:30pm) and Saturday 26th (2:oopm and 7:00pm).
  • The Lent course, titled “Send Us Out“, is being specially written for Saint Paul’s.  Lent courses have been a regular feature in our church for many years.  The five week course will start in early March.  There will also be at least two other Lent courses around the parish, so do refer to your copy of “Journeying Together” for more information (if you don’t have your own copy, speak to Rich Cresswell or email us and we’ll make sure you get one).
  • Our parish adult confirmation course will run as two separate groups this year, to allow people to attend at a time that suits best.  One of the groups will be held at Saint Paul’s on Thursday evenings, starting 3rd March.  For more information, speak to Rich Cresswell or Greta Lowe.  Look out for flyers appearing in church soon.
  • Our church weekend away at Quinta will take place between 20th and 22nd May.  The theme for the weekend is “A message for everyone“.

More information on all these will be available through your notice sheet and this blog.

The Bible study group will reconvene this week Wednesday 12th January at Dot’s house at 7:30. We shall then review where and when we next meet.
